Slumdog millionaire

Slumdog Millionaire review:

Director: Danny Boyle

The plot: Slumdog Millionaire is about a young boy from India, named Jamal. He is playing "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?", the Indian version of course. Jamal has gets suspected for cheating in the game because he knows all the answers even though he has no education at all. What the leaders of the show does not know is that Jamal is looking back through his life and things he has been through to find all the correct answers.

He also has this girl who he falls in love with, and a lot of complicated misunderstandings and other stuff happens between them until they finally figure it out and get together at the end of the movie at the train station.

Characters: Jamal is a young man who has no education and not much money. He is a good-hearted man who has been through a lot even though he is still very young. Also he has a very good memory and is very intelligent.

Latika is an old childhood friend of Jamal which he succeeds to find and falls in love with. Latika wants Jamal to forget about her, but he will not give her up and Latika can not hold it back at the end of the movie. She is a very intelligent woman with strong opinions and a good heart.

Salim is Jamal's brother. He has done it very well in his life and earns a lot of money and is a very respected man. Jamal and he is not very friendly to each other it seems, but is working some of it out through the movie.

My opinion of the film: I thought the film was very good, and well made. It was very interesting and touching at times.
